Keep in mind

  • Big, uncluttered, light rooms = Beautiful getting-ready images.

  • Consider holding an “unplugged” Ceremony, enabling your guests to engage in the beauty of the moment, instead of stepping into the aisle with their ipads.

  • Bright / high sun = racoon eyes / unflattering images. If possible, get married in the shade, under a covering or a big tree so the light is even.

  • Our favourite time to take pictures is just before sunset, so set aside 45- 60 minutes then, if you would like pictures of just the two of you.

  • To gather family can be a challenge! It’s a great idea to nominate your MC or a bridesmaid as the “official herder”. Please allocate at least 20 minutes of your schedule to family photos.

  • Photographs of you with your bridal party, will take another 20 minutes, which can be slotted in after your family photos and before your couple portrait session.

  • Candles, fairy lights and other lighting will add to the ambiance of your reception venue and your wedding pictures.

nitty gritty

  • 50% of the amount indicated on your invoice, and a signed contract, are required to secure page & holmes as your wedding photographers.

  • The remaining 50% must be paid three weeks before your wedding day.

  • Travel within 60km of our office is included in the wedding packages. Thereafter, a rate of $0.80/km applies.

  • Two nights of accomodation are required if your wedding is more than two hours away from Vancouver. One night of accomodation is required if your wedding is more than one hour away from Vancouver. We organise our own accommodation at a rate of $350 per night.

  • We are hungry humans, please feed us.

  • We do not outsource our editing, so please allow 12-14 weeks for postproduction.
