Vancouver Rowing Club Wedding
Holding a wedding at The Vancouver Rowing Club was a perfect fit for Steven and Annabelle’s relaxed and fun-loving personalities. This historic venue is situated in picturesque Stanley Park and boasts stunning views of English Bay and the North Shore mountains. It has a rich history dating back to the early 1900s when it was established as a meeting place for rowers. The building, which was originally constructed in 1911, has been renovated to include modern amenities while still maintaining its original character. The Vancouver Rowing Club is ideal for an outdoor summer ceremony and cocktail hour, with a reception space that’s a truly a blank canvas for ideas. If you’re a couple looking for a wedding venue that provides a unique and relaxed atmosphere, consider The Vancouver Rowing Club. Choosing the right venue can set the tone for your big day.
Annabelle looked stunning in her dress from Rituals of Love Bridal. The elegant silk gown perfectly suited the laidback yet sophisticated atmosphere of the venue. Jane from Young Hip and Married performed the ceremony on the patio overlooking the stunning backdrop of English Bay. The ceremony was filled with laughter and joy, which was a common theme throughout the day.
The guests were in high spirits throughout the day, and the reception was a blast. The couple surprised everyone by coming into their reception singing karaoke to “I’ve Had The Time of My Life.” The reception was a perfect reflection of the couple’s personalities, full of fun and games. They even organized a game of bingo, drinking games, and had poutine to keep everyone fueled and entertained throughout the night.
The sunset photo session down by the water in Stanley Park was magical. The colors of the sunset, the mountains, and the ocean combined to make an enchanting backdrop for the photos. This one was one for the books, enjoy!
