St Fort Wedding in Clarens
Nick and Ursula held their festive “Boer and Brit” wedding celebration at St Fort Wedding Venue in Clarens. This small Free State town is situated at the foothills of the Maloti Mountains and St Fort, an old homestead, sits just outside the village with a view of the famous Mushroom Rock.
The pair said their vows in the quaintest sandstone church, before heading back to St Fort for local gin on the lawn and an epic party in the old farm barn. The sheer magnitude and splendour of the surrounding cliffs with their multi-coloured layers created an incredible backdrop for their day.
As you might have guessed Nick and Ursula planned their wedding around the coming together of their cultural backgrounds and the exciting dynamic that their differences produce. It’s clear for all to see that they share a carefree, all-embracing love for each other and for the community of people around them.
Nick and I share a love of architecture, natural splendour and the slightly arbitrary pop of colour at times. We both love travelling and sharing our experiences with our loved ones, and we wanted to let every person know that they are special and unique to us. – Ursula
