Classic Wedding at Hycroft Manor
Jessica and Troy’s wedding day was nothing short of a modern-day fairytale with their wedding ceremony held at Hycroft Manor, followed by an elegant wedding reception at the luxurious Fairmont Waterfront.
Hycroft Manor, located in Vancouver’s Shaughnessy neighbourhood, is a beautiful Edwardian mansion built in 1909. With its breathtaking architecture, manicured gardens, and sweeping views, it’s no surprise that Hycroft is one of the most sought-after wedding venues in Vancouver.
It was also a perfect regal backdrop for Jess and Troy’s classic and elegant wedding with its lush dressing-room suites, manicured rose-gardens (set for canapés and cocktails), grand ceremony veranda, and of course Hycroft’s iconic drawing room and breathtaking green solarium.
Setting aside the beauty of the location for a moment, there were so many emotional moments that had us tearing up behind our lenses. From Jessica’s first look with her dad to they way the couple embraced and burst into spontaneous laughter as they reached the end of the aisle. Of course, these very real moments produced some of our favourite frames from their day. These are images and memories that will be cherished forever.
Their wedding reception was held at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel, which is located in the heart of Vancouver and provides picturesque waterfront views, overlooking the Vancouver harbour and the North Shore mountains. Like Hyrcoft, the Fairmont Waterfront oozes elegance and luxury. By combining these two venues, Jessica and Troy ensured their wedding guests had an unforgettable experience. The two venues provided different yet complimentary experiences of romance and grandeur.
Jess and Troy, just like your love, your day was extraordinary! May the days and years ahead always hold some of the fairytale-like magic of your wedding day.
